How many hermit crabs can I have in my 10 gallon long tank?
The hermit crabs I have now are all pretty small(one might be medium size) I have 3 of them but they are not very active at all except they are somewhat active at night. I wanted to get more hermit crabs to make my tank a little more exciting and have some that are active.
What size/how many more can I buy? ( I was thinking about getting 3 more little ones)

If you have 3 small ones, you could probably get one more, but you'll have to upgrade soon because your crabs will molt and grow.

Jumbo - 5 gal each
Large - 4 gal each
Med. - 3 gal each
Small - 2 gal each
Teeny/micro - 1 gal each
If you go to crabbytalk they also have a chart that you can print out to size your crabs so you know exactly what sizes you have
